Writing credits on records are Norman Petty and Charles Hardin. Charles Hardin was the writing name used by Holly whose real name was Charles Hardin Holley. Norman Petty was Holly's manager.
First released by Buddy Holly and The Crickets in October 1957 with Oh Boy on the flip side of the single.
