First recorded by Henry Thomas (aka Ragtime Texas) in the late 1920's.

Don't Ease Me In was played Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions and by the Grateful Dead during the first year of their existence. It was a regular part of their repertoire in 1970, 1972, 1973 and the 1979 to 1995 period but was absent or rare during other years.
