A 4 CD box set of Bay Area music from 1965 to 1970. Includes Can't Come Down by the (pre-Dead) Warlocks, The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) from the first Grateful Dead LP and the single version of Dark Star by the Grateful Dead. The remaining 74 tracks cover a wide range of well known and lesser known Bay Area groups from the Beau Brummels to Janis Joplin and Fifty Foot Hose to the Flamin' Groovies.
