The first Rag Baby EP produced to be distributed in an envelope with pages from Rag Baby magazine. It includes two tracks by Country Joe & The Fish and two by Peter Krug. Country Joe & The Fish were originally formed to record the music for this EP.

This 7" 'LP' (played at LP speed) was distributed in a printed envelope (the front of which is shown above) together with pages from the Rag Baby magazine. The issue was Volume 1, Issue A and was produced in October 1965. Originally only 100 copies were pressed.

The musicians credits include, 'U.S. Establishment - war', a note is attached to this on the rear of the pamphlet;

The war heard on this record is entirely fictitious and is not to be considered as actual recordings of any war currently being carried on by the US Government or any of it's agencies.
