The Sons Of Champlin Discography
The Sons Of Champlin were formed in San Francisco in 1965, originally using the group name the Masterbeats. They built a reputation as live performers but they did not release an LP until 1969. Earlier recordings have subsequently been compiled and released. After a hiatus in the early 1970s they continued to perform and record until 1978. They reunited in 1997 and have subsequently released two live recordings. For more information see the Sons Of Champlin web site.
