Ian & Sylvia Discography

Ian Tyson and Sylvia Fricker started to perform as a duo in Toronto in 1959 or 1960. They moved to New York in 1960. They released a series of albums on the Vanguard label between 1962 and 1967. Two MGM albums followed in 1967 and 1968 together with a final Vanguard album, Nashville, in 1968. Ian & Sylvia formed the group Great Speckled Bird in 1970. This group released one album and participated in the Festival Express tour of Canada. The last two Ian & Sylvia albums were released on the Columbia label in the early 1970's. They last toured together in 1973.
