Notes

Possibly played by Garcia at the Chateau in Menlo Park on November 18th 1961, though no tape circulates.

Greenback Dollar is usually on tape lists for the show played by an unnamed bluegrass band with Garcia on banjo at an unknown venue in Burlingame in January 1962 - but the song performed on that tape is East Virginia Blues.

Greenback Dollar derived from the East Virginia Blues/Dark Holler family of songs. See entry on East Virginia Blues for more information.
