Dear Mr Fantasy

Dear Mr Fantasy was first performed by the Grateful Dead in June 1984. It was a feature song for Brent Mydland and was last performed in July 1990. The song always occurred in the second set of shows and from 1988 onward it often, but not always, finished with a Hey Jude finale.

Jerry Garcia played the song twicw whilst sitting in with Traffic in August 1994. One of these performances is included on The Last Great Traffic Jam.
