Notes
C.C. Rider was one of the songs rehearsed by the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan prior to the 1987 Dylan & The Dead tour but it was not performed live on the tour.
Probably a traditional song reworked by Ma Rainey in 1925 and recorded as See See Rider Blues. Many recordings since then with some title variations - the commonest titles in use being C C Rider and See See Rider.
Many recent versions of the song are indebted to Chuck Willis who updated and recorded the song 1957. He is sometimes included in the writing credits for the song.
