An expanded version of the documentary feature film about the Woodstock Festival with performance, backstage and crowd footage. This version includes over 40 minutes of extra material.

The Grateful Dead's performance at Woodstock was not included on the film. However Garcia briefly appears, saying "Marijuana - Exhibit A" to the camera. Pigpen is also fleetingly seen in one scene.

The original Woodstock movie was released in 1970.
