Theatre 1839 Discography
This is a discography of albums recorded at Theatre 1839 in San Francisco. Theatre 1839 on Geary in San Francisco was used by Bill Graham as a music venue in 1977. The building that housed Theatre 1839 (at 1839 Geary) was used as a synagogue from its construction in the early 20th century up until the late 1960's. In the early 1970's it became a community space, art gallery and occasional music venue known as the House Of Good. After the period as Theatre 1839 the building was used at times as a music venue but became vandalized and unused toward the end of the 1980's. It was then restored as an exhibition space known as the Duquette Pavilion. The building was destroyed by a fire in 1989 and demolished. Additions and corrections are welcome
