Lion's Share, San Anselmo Discography

This is a discography of albums recorded at the Lion's Share in San Anselmo.

The Lion's Share opened at 60 Red Hill Avenue in San Anselmo in 1969 after the Lion's Share in Sausalito burned down. Jerry Garcia played at the club with the New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Merl Saunders and Old & In The Way. The Sons Of Champlin and Clover were regular performers at the Lion's Share during the 1970's, as were many of the Marin County rock scene. Van Morison and Jesse Colin Young also performed at the club.

The building which possibly was built in the 1940's originally housed retail businesses. It reverted to retail use after the club closed.
