Jabberwock, Berkeley

The Jabberwock was a mid-sixties folk club located at 2901 Telegraph in Berkeley, a building that was formerly Tsubo's jazz club. The Jabberwock, which probably opened sometime in 1964, was by 1965 the premier club of its type in the area and was home venue for local groups such as Country Joe & The Fish and The Cleanliness and Godliness Skiffle Band, as well as a popular venue for touring performers. The Jabberwock closed in July 1967. The building has subsequently been demolished.

It appears that there are no official releases that include live music from the club.
