Club Hangover, San Francisco

Club Hangover, which opened in the late 1940's, was the premier tradiational jazz venue in San Francisco during the 1950's. The club at 729 Bush Street was run by Doc Dougherty.

During the 1950's there were many radio broadcasts of concerts at Club Hangover. Subsequently a number of these have been released on CD, particularly on the Storyville label. Information about these recordings, by performers such as Kid Ory, George Lewis, Lee Collins and Earl Hines, may be added at a later date.

Additions and corrections are welcome
