The soundtrack of this Michaelangelo Antonioni film includes a excerpt from Dark Star taken from the Live/Dead and a guitar solo Love Scene played by Garcia.

Both pieces of music together with other music from the film was released on a Zabriskie Point soundtrack album in 1970. In 1997 an extended double CD Zabriskie Point soundtrack was released with additional solo guitar pieces by Garcia.
