The soundtrack of this movie includes part of a Grateful Dead version of Dark Star. The version of Dark Star is an edited version of the performance from the 4/8/72 London show.

The soundtrack also includes music by Big Brother & The Holding Company, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Steve Miller Band, Martial Solal, Edith Piaf and Francoise Hardy.

The movie was directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and stars Michael Pitt, Eva Green, Louis Garrel, Anna Chancellor and Robin Renucci.

Available on video and DVD. Additional features on the DVD release include audio tracks, a commentary by Bernardo Bertolucci, Gilbert Adair and Jeremy Thomas, an "Events of May '68" featurette, a "The Making of The Dreamers" featurette, Michael Pitt "Hey Joe" music video and theatrical trailers.
