Sweet Betsy From Pike
Composer: Traditional / John Stone

Sweet Betsy From Pike was briefly played during a tuning break during a Grateful Dead studio rehearsal in 1975.

The song was first published by John Stone in 1858. It is thought that he wrote the lyrics. The melody is the same as older songs originating in Ireland.
