At the start of the second set of the Grateful Dead show at Winterland on October 9, 1972 Grace Slick unexpectedly wandered onto the stage and sang slightly incoherent, improvised lyrics whilst the Grateful Dead played a blues jam. This continued for a few minutes until Bill Graham led Grace Slick offstage.
