I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts
Composer: Fred Heatherton (see below)

The Jerry Garcia Band played a brief instrumental version of this novelty song at the Keystone on November 29, 1975.

I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts is credited to Fred Heatherton. This was a pseudonym used for songs written by two British songwriters Harold Elton Box and Desmond Cox. For I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts a third songwriter, Lewis Ilda (aka Irwin Dash), probably also contributed and is encompassed by the Fred Heatherton pseudonym.

The song was first copyrighted in 1944 but not apparently released until its inclusion on a number of singles in 1949. The Primo Scala Band single was possibly the first release of the song.

Note that early recordings used the spelling Cocoanuts but most later recordings use the spelling Coconuts.
