The Great Gig in the Sky was performed by Phil Lesh & Friends at a show that was billed as Cycle Of Life in August 2013. Phil Lesh performed the spoken word parts and Theresa Williams the wordless vocal part.

The Great Gig in the Sky was written by Richard Wright of Pink Floyd and first released on the Dark Side Of The Moon album in 1973. The wordless improvised vocals were performed by Clare Torry who was awarded composer credits in an out of court settlement in 2005.
