Down On The Bottom was played by Phil Lesh & Friends, with Jim James, in 2017. Down On The Bottom is one of a group of songs based on unused lyrics by Bob Dylan from 1966/67. The songs were set to music, by a group of musicians that included Jim James, and recorded for the Lost On The River album. (Note that Elvis Costello also set the Down On The Bottom lyrics to music. His song was not included on the Lost On The River album but has been included on Elvis Costello albums.)
