A compilation of tracks recorded for the Scorpio records label, a subsidiary of the San Francisco based Fantasy Records. Includes four tracks by The Tears, seven by The Golliwogs and three by the William Penn and His Pals (William Penn Fyve). This compilation is the third release in the Big Beat series Nuggets From The Golden State. (Note that this Scorpio Records is not the same label as the Scorpio Records that released the first Grateful Dead single)
