Grunt
Jefferson Airplane formed Grunt 1971 as a vehicle for group and solo projects. Grunt was a subsidiary of RCA but owned by Jefferson Airplane. Releases were distributed by RCA. The first album released on the label was Bark. In addition to Jefferson Airplane releases on the label included albums by Hot Tuna, Jefferson Starship, Grace Slick, Papa John Creach, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen, Peter Kaukonen, Jack Bonus and Steelwind.
