Beat Instrumental

Beat Instrumental was a UK rock and pop magazine that started life in 1963 as Beat Monthly then became Beat Instrumental Monthly and finally Beat Instrumental in 1966. At some point after 1966 the a subtitle "And International Recording Studio" was added to the title.

The magazine was aimed at musicians (and those who wanted to be musicians) and included lots of instrument advertising and technical information.

The June 1972 issue included an article about the Grateful Dead with Garcia appearing on the cover.
